Today we enjoyed the company of a Dad, his daughter Nichole and two other young ladies. We had a great trip out to the north rip near block island. Zach, my mate, and I dropped the lines and started trolling with a frame and a chute.
Within minutes we had a striper on the frame, and another. We decided to go with the frames. We caught a total of 10 stripers and 3 blues, sometimes bringing up two at time. Had to release some of the stripers due to the limit of 1 per person but that didn’t diminish the fun of catching them.
Our lovely ladies caught the attention of other boats in the area. We had one come up along side us while trolling, to catch a glimpse of the girls.
Nichole took her own fish off the hook and even filleted it herself, doing a pretty good job. These young ladies were do-it-youselfers and were not the least bit afraid of handling the fish.
All in all it was a fun day on the Aces Wild. Hope to do it again in the future.
