Today is a day of leisure. My son is visiting so my grandson and I decided to take him fishing. Another absolutely gorgeous day but very chilly this morning. Left the dock a little after 7am.
Striper fishing is winding down so they are not as plentiful as earlier in the season. However there ARE plenty of sea bass and tautog will be in very soon. Cruised along for a few hours and managed to hook up 2 nice stripers at the same time. We also caught a blue fish, 2 scup and several sea bass. Not bad for a pleasure trip on the Aces Wild.
