Island Fishing Trips.
So feel free to check out our pictures of fish in
Rhode Island. There are a lot of them. The 2009 fishing
season has come to a close.
We try to take as many photos as possible
during the season and place them here. It shows that we are going
out and having success at fishing, and making a lot of people happy.
We didn't do enough pictures last year, but they'll be plenty for 2010.
November 9, 2009: Beautiful 8lb Tautog near Point Judith.
We were fishing in 38 feet of water on mostly rocky bottom.
October 11, 2009: Nice Tautog caught near Narragansett.
October 9, 2009: Cameron with a nice bass caught at Block
Island.
This was on the East side of the island taken trolling.
June 25, 2009: One of 19 bass and 27 bluefish taken on this
trip with plugs.
Top water plugs were mostly used with a few fish taken on plastics.
June 20, 2009: Beautiful striper taken at Block Island.
Most of the fish were taken on plugs this trip.
June 17, 2009: Nice topwater bass at Block Island.
June 15, 2009: A nice Topwater bass at Block Island
June 13, 2009: Bass are all over the place at the Block.
June 11, 2009: Nice bass taken at Block Island.
June 6, 2009: Nice bass taken on soft plastic at Block
Island.
It was very foggy and overcast during this trip.
June 4, 2009: Captain Earl with a nice Bass taken on Soft
Plastic bait.
June 3, 2009: George with a nice Bass taken on Topwater plug.
We caught all the fish on plugs during this trip.
May 5, 2009: Nice early season Tautog weighing in at 8lbs.
These are some of the best eating fish in Rhode Island.
